Evelyn's Digital Play
Flickr has a group where you are invited to tell a five frame story; I quite like this one showing the obsessive behaviour of a Flickrite.
Here another Flickrite gives ideas on how to approach the task of structuring a narrative through five pictures.
Barbara Ganley here gives evidence of how she used the techniques in school. She seems fantastically dedicated.
The piece de resistance for me though, is Evelyn at the pc playing a video game. And you can also see the video here.
Funnily enough, I have come across Evelyn on Flickr before and blogged about her fab Mum and Dad and their playful funhere.

thanks for link to YouTube. Very interesting. Some videos are obviously about play (children playing, for example). Others are play - parodies, for example. Others are digital play - screen captures of video game play all edited into one smooth show. And others are play about play - parodies of video game play. Could spend hours looking at the site!
Flickr is very complex.
I have been looking through for images for my blog and ended up realising it was too like real life for me - things were more random and less organised than I thought.
How do you understand it Dr Joolz?

I think the answer is too get really involved. (I belong to lots of groups. I think that is the only way to understand most of this new stuff. But there is loads of Flickr I don't get; I have a small affinity space and I know there are dark patches I keep away from - intuitively.
I will look closer at YouTube Bex. I did not look very far I must admit but it sounds fascinating from what you say.
